How to cook
Cut off the top of the pumpkin and remove the seeds and fibers with a spoon. Sprinkle the inside with salt and smear with a little olive oil. Bake for 45 min. at 356°F (180°C).
Dice the onion, chop the garlic finely. Finely chop the chili pepper. Fry the onion, chili pepper and garlic in the olive oil. Cut the champignons into slices and add them in. Saute everything for 5 min. Add the white wine and let it boil. Add salt and remove from the stove.
Combine the mushrooms with the corn flour, which has been mixed with 1 tablespoon of water in advance. Add cheese and stir. Next, add in the liquid cream.
Take the pumpkin out of the oven and put the mushroom blend in it. Dice the pepper and sprinkle it over the dish. Put some sour cream on top in several places and serve the pumpkin with bread, with the pumpkin top in place.
