Ingredients

  • potatoes - 3 lb (1.3 kg)
  • cheese - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • milk - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • butter - 1/2 cup (125 g), melted
  • eggs - 2

Preparation

Boil the potatoes until softened but not for too long.

Peel them and cut them into round slices, then arrange them in an oven dish.

On top of each row of potatoes, put grated cheese and finish off with potatoes at the very top.

Pour the melted butter over everything, then pour on a mixture of the eggs and milk. Bake in a high oven.
