Ingredients

  • corn flour - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • flour - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g), white
  • sugar - 1 tbsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • eggs - 1, whipped
  • milk - 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • sausages - 8 frankfurters
  • oil - for frying

How to cook

Mix both types of flour with the baking powder and sugar, season with salt and black pepper. Whip the egg lightly, then continue beating with the milk and add to the flour.

After the mixture is well-beaten, let it sit for 30 min.

Stick the frankfurters on wet wooden skewers and heat the oil to 302°F (150°C). Dip the sausages in the crumbing and put them to fry until golden.

Take them out with a slotted spoon and leave them to drain on paper towels. Serve the corn dogs with ketchup and mustard.
