- sugar - 1/2 cup
- water - 10 2/5 cups (2500 ml)
- cognac - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
- lemons - 2
- citric acid - a pinch
Heat up the sugar slowly until it caramelizes.
Combine the water with the citric acid, bring to a boil, add it to the sugar and bring to a boil once again.
Boil until the sugar is completely dissolved. Cut the lemons into thin slices without peeling them and add them to the water. Pour in the cognac and serve hot.
