Boil the macaroni in 8 1/3 cups (2 L) salted water. Cut the cheese into thin slices. Cut the bacon into strips. Oil a rectangular baking tray.
In it, arrange the macaroni, bacon and cheese in layers. Peel the onions and garlic, chop them finely.
Heat the oven to 392°F (200 °C). Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the onions and garlic until they become transparent. Sprinkle on the cayenne pepper. Mix the broth with the cream and pour it into the pan.
After it comes to a boil, season with black pepper, salt and nutmeg. Pour this mixture over the bake. Bake it 30 min. Serve with chopped parsley.
