Macaroni with Eggs and Feta Cheese

  • macaroni - 1 packet
  • milk - 4 1/5 cups (1 L)
  • feta cheese - about 7 oz (200 g) or a little more
  • eggs - 4, homegrown
  • sugar - 1 1/2 cups
  • vanilla - 1 - 2 packets
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling


Boil the macaroni in salted water but don't overcook them, have them remain slightly hard.

Drain the prepared macaroni from the water and transfer them to an oiled tray. Sprinkle with crumbled feta cheese and stir a little.

Separately, beat the eggs with the sugar until fluffy and gradually dilute with the milk. Flavor with vanilla and pour this over the macaroni.

Stir slightly, then bake the macaroni with eggs and feta cheese in a moderate oven for about 45 min. or until they gain a nice golden color on top.

Sprinkle the ready macaroni thoroughly with powdered sugar shortly after removing from the oven.
