Ingredients

  • calamari - 14 oz (400 g)
  • flour - 1/3 cup (85 g), wheat
  • corn starch - 1/3 cup (85 g)
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • soya sauce

Preparation

Wash the calamari, clean them thoroughly from the gills and outer membrane and cut each one along its length. Place them on a smooth surface and cut them into thin strips.

In a separate container, mix the flour, starch and spices. Roll the calamari pieces in the breading and fry in an oil bath for 3-4 min. per side.

Take them out with a slotted spoon and leave them on a napkin to drain before serving. Season with soya sauce and serve with fresh green salad.
