Ingredients

  • onions - 1 head
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • flour - 2 tbsp (30 g)
  • milk - 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • nuts - 1 cup (250 g), chopped (cashews, almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts)
  • bread - 2 oz (60 g)
  • breadcrumbs
  • carrots - 2
  • parsley - 1 tbsp
  • thyme - 1 tbsp
  • parmesan - 2 tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • eggs - 1
  • oil - for frying
  • black pepper

How to cook

Braise the onion and garlic, add the flour and fry another 1-2 min.

Add the milk and bring to a boil. Remove from the stove and add the bread, nuts, carrots, spices, parmesan and lemon juice. Leave the mixture to cool.

Form 12 meatballs, roll them first in the egg, then in the breadcrumbs. Fry them and serve with a salad of your choice.
