How to cook
Cut the cucumbers into thin slices. Put them in a large perforated bowl and sprinkle with salt.
Leave them for 1 hour. Wash them and put them on power towels. Heat the sugar, cider and vinegar just a little.
Once the sugar dissolves, remove from the stove and leave the mixture to drain. Put the cucumber slices in a bowl, pour on the mixture and leave them to marinate for 2 hours.
Drain them and sprinkle with dill and black pepper. Cool in the fridge before serving.
