How to cook
Pour the chopped strawberries and sugar in a small pot. Pour in about 1/3 cup water, heat and boil until the mixture is reduced, stirring periodically.
Mix the starch with 2 tbsp water and stir until you get a smooth mixture.
Pour it in with the strawberries, stir and continue boiling another 4-5 min. Remove from the stove and add the vanilla.
Cool the topping and blend it if you would like it to become smooth. Serve with pancakes, sundaes or ice cream.
