Bocconcini with Sour Cherries

  • powdered sugar - 1 tbsp
  • sour cherries - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • flour - 1 cup (220 g)
  • beer - 2 tbsp (30 ml)
  • eggs - 2
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • oil - 1/5 cup (60 ml)


Mix the flour with the salt. Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks. Combine the flour with the egg yolks, add the olive oil and beer. Stir. The result will be a dough with the consistency of liquid cream.

Wash the sour cherries without removing the stems. Whip the egg whites into snow and add them to the dough. Stir carefully from the top going down.

Heat the oil. Grab each sour cherry by the stem and dip it in the dough, then dip it for several seconds in the heated oil.

Take the sour cherries out and leave them to drain from any excess oil on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve while still warm.find similar recipes here
