Beat the sugar with the eggs. Add the milk and the vanilla, then gradually add the flour that you've sifted with the baking powder.
Stir until you get a homogenous mixture and pour into a buttered tray.
Sprinkle the dough with a mixture of melted butter and 1-2 pinches cinnamon.
Sprinkle with crumbled walnuts and bake about 30 min. in a preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven.
