Soak the rice for 2 hours ahead of time in salted water, drain it and boil for 5 min., lower the stove and boil another 10 min.

Add the spices and onions, stir well and saute another few min. Soak the saffron in 1 tbsp boiling water.

Heat half the butter, add 1 tbsp water and the rice. Cook on very low heat for 10 min.

Add the remaining butter, cinnamon and saffron water, cover with a clean towel, put the lid on and saute on very low heat for 30 min.find similar recipes here
