  • yeast - 1 tbsp, dried
  • water - 1 cup, warm, {45 °C}
  • sugar - 1 pinch
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • flour - 3 1/3 cups
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • basil - 1 tbsp, chopped, fresh


Dissolve the yeast in a bowl with the heated water and sugar. Once it bubbles, add the salt, olive oil and flour and knead a smooth dough that comes off the walls of the container easily.

Flour a countertop and put the dough on it. Continue kneading another 8-10 min.

Leave the dough to rise for about an hour in an oiled bowl, covered with a towel. You can also smear the dough itself with a little oil, so it doesn't get crusty.

Chop the basil and garlic finely and add them to the dough, squishing it. Cover it with a towel once again and let it rise for another hour.

Next, roll out the dough and prepare a pizza with toppings of your choice.
