Pour the flour, sugar and salt in a bowl and stir. Mix the water, egg and 2 tbsp of the butter in a small bowl.
Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and stir, and if necessary add more water.
Divide the resulting dough in 3 parts. Cover them with a towel and leave them to rest for 30 min. Heat the oven to 374°F (190 °C).
Roll out the 3 balls into thin crusts, smear them with the remaining butter and bake 10-15 min. Cool and make holes in them, serve with a dish of your choice.
