Oven Baked Duck in Foil
- duck - 1
- for the marinade
- olive oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
- apples - 1
- onions - 2 tablespoons, powdered
- garlic - 2 tablespoons, powdered
- black pepper
- orange juice - from 1 orange
- white wine - 1 cup
- mustard - 1 tsp
- honey - 2 tablespoons
Brush the bird with this marinade inside and out. Leave it for a bit to take in all the different flavors. Then cover the duck with foil and bake at 356°F (180 °C) for about 2 hours.
Finally, rip off the foil, brush the duck with a little of the marinade it sat in and grill until the meat catches an appetizing crust. Serve with a fresh vegetable garnish.
