Beat the egg whites into thick snow. Gradually add the sugar and beat again. Cut out circles from paper. Put a thick layer of beaten egg whites on each circle.
Bake by placing them in a cold oven and heating it to 212°F (100 °C). Bake with the door slightly open for two hours for each circle. Leave them to cool.
Prepare a cream mixture topping by mixing the mascarpone and cream. Beat, add the powdered sugar and beat until creamy. Put cream on each layer and arrange them one atop the other. Also put cream on the top layer.
Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar. Leave for 4 hours in the refrigerator. Cut the strawberries into slices and decorate the cake.
