Ingredients

  • meringues - 12
  • butter - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • sugar - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • fig jam - 2 tbsp (30 g)
  • cognac - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 ml)
  • confectionery cream - 4/5 cup (175 ml)
  • walnuts - 2 tbsp (30 g), crushed

How to cook

Stir the softened butter with sugar until white. Add the jam to it that's been pre-mixed with the cognac. Cut the meringues into two parts.

Arrange them in rows in an oven dish, smear the meringues with the buttery cream twice. Cool the cake in the refrigerator and cut it with a hot dry knife.

Decorated with whipped confectionery cream.
