How to make
Put a cheesecloth or a dense grid in a large vat and add the washed and cleaned plums. Add 4 gal (15 liters) of water. Boil for about 90 minutes.
Then remove the cheesecloth with the plums and leave them to drain well. Pour the syrup into another container and add the sugar. Smash the aspirin well and add it to the syrup. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Pour the finished syrup into bottles while still warm. Cover the bottles with a blanket and leave them overnight.
