Gently wash the cauliflower and remove all its leaves, leaving the head whole. Blanch it for 5-6 minutes in salted boiling water with the bay leaf and allspice. Strain it.
Put it in a small baking dish and pour on the remaining sauce. Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F (200 °C) with the fan on. Keep an eye on it and pour sauce from the dish over the cauliflower from time to time.
