How to cook
For the dough: Dissolve the yeast in cool milk, then add the butter, sugar, egg yolks, salt and gradually the flour. Knead a soft dough and leave it to rise.
In the meantime, make the filling. Crush the walnuts, sugar, egg, and vanilla in a bowl and mix well.
Roll out a crust 1/2″ (1 cm) thick and a cut circles with a glass. Add the filling, fold them in half and press their edges together so their filling doesn't spill.
Arrange the prepared fritters in a powdered with flour tray and leave them to rise, then fry them in oil and sprinkle with powdered sugar when done.
