Beat the butter into foam, then gradually add the powdered sugar to it. Add one egg and continue beating, then add the second egg.
Mix the flour with the vanilla and baking powder and add it to the butter cream. Stir with a spatula. Divide the resulting dough into 4 parts. Shape each part into a ball and roll it out into a crust approximately 1/8 thick.
Cut out shapes by using cookie cutters. Put them in a baking dish, covered with baking paper. Bake in a preheated 338°F (170 °C) oven with the fan on for 6-7 minutes.
