Ingredients

  • flour - about 2 cups (500 g)
  • water - 1 cup, cool (if needed add more)
  • baking powder - 1 packet
  • oil - 1 cup
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • for spreading
  • butter - 1/2 a packet
  • garlic - powdered

Preparation

Add the baking powder, salt, oil and sugar to the flour. Pour in the water and stir.

Knead a soft dough, cover it and leave it to "rest". Divide the dough into equally sized balls.

Roll out each ball into a pita, depending on the size of your pan. Heat a grill pan and grill the flatbread pitas on both sides until golden.

Heat the butter, add the garlic (as much as you like) to it and stir.
