Ingredients

  • eggs - 1
  • sugar - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • milk - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • butter - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g), melted
  • flour - 1 2/3 cups (400 g)
  • for the cream
  • milk - 2 1/2 cups (600 ml)
  • eggs - 3
  • flour - 3 tbsp
  • sugar - 5 tbsp
  • vanilla - 2 packets

How to cook

Beat the eggs and sugar, then slowly add the milk, baking soda and melted flour.

In the container you're going to be kneading, put the sifted flour and add the rest of the products.

Knead a dough, divide it into 3 balls and roll them out so they fit in the oven dish you're going to be baking. The rolled out balls need to be thin, almost transparent.

Transfer the layers to the oven dish that's covered with baking paper and bake 4-5 min. at 356°F (180 °C).

Place the first cake layer onto a platter, smear it with the cream (made the usual way with eggs and milk), arrange another 2-3 cake layers with cream and finally cream again.

If desired you can sprinkle with ground walnuts on top.

The cake becomes juicier if left out for a day.
