"Once you try our Strudel with Plums, you`re not going to want to look at a traditional pudding with apples ever again."

Ingredients

  • plums - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • flour - 1 cup (250 g)
  • butter - 1/5 cup (70 g)
  • oil - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 ml)
  • sugar - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • breadcrumbs - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • eggs - 1
  • cinnamon - 1 pinch
  • powdered sugar - 1 2/3 tbsp (25 g)
  • salt - 1 pinch

How to cook

Cut the plums into halves, remove the pits and cut the halves finely. Add the sugar, breadcrumbs, cinnamon and egg.

Knead a dough from the flour, butter, salt and a little water and leave it for 30 min.

Roll it out thinly and leave it to dry a little. Sprinkle it with oil.

Put the stuffing in the middle of the dough. Wrap it into a roll and put it in an oiled tray.

Bake for 338°F (170°C) for about an hour.

Take it out, let it cool and sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
