Peel the apples and cut them into crescents.
Pour the sugar for the caramel into the oven dish you're going to be baking in and put it on the stove. Stir until it melts and remove from the stove.
Arrange the apple crescents on top of the caramel.
Set aside 1 cup of the mixture and mix it with the cocoa. First, pour the white mixture into the oven dish, then the cocoa one and use a wooden skewer to make stripes via circular motions.
Bake in a preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven for 30 min.
Take it out and invert onto a plate.
