Lay out the puff pastry and cut 12 circles out of it. Form baskets by putting the circles of puff pastry into the muffin cups.
Bake in a preheated oven until golden. Take the baskets out and leave them to cool.
Make the vanilla cream according to package directions. Fill the baskets with cream. Pour any leftover cream into bowls.
Garnish the baskets with a piece of melon. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
