Pour it into a buttered oven dish. Bake in a preheated 338°F (170 °C) oven until a toothpick comes out dry when you poke it. Leave the layer to cool and cut it into 2.
Stir the vanilla cream with 1 1/5 cups (300 ml) cold milk, add the cottage cheese and sour cream. Flavor with powdered sugar to taste.
Smear the cake layer with it, cover with the 2nd layer and smear once again. Decorate as desired. You can sprinkle with whatever comes to mind, as long as you like it.
