Wash the apples, clean them of their seeds and peel them. Saute them in about 2 tbsp (30 g) butter and distribute them into bowls. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

I was able to fit 2 medium-sized apples in a bowl. Arrange them in individual serving bowls or in a tray.

Separately, make butter crumbs from the remaining 2 tbsp (30 g) butter, by melting it in a microwave and adding ground walnuts and coconut flakes.

Mix up the products until you get a thick crumbly mixture. Then distribute the butter crumbs over the apples.

Bake at 392°F (200 °C) for about 20 min. (until the crumbs get a nice crisp). You can eat it without adding anything else, although some prefer to have it with ice cream or whipped cream.
