Ingredients

  • spinach - 9 oz (250 g)
  • chicken meat - 1 whole leg
  • onions - 1 head
  • carrots - 1
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • water - 6 1/5 cups (1500 ml)
  • black pepper - 1 pinch
  • tomato juice - 1 cup
  • vermicelli - 1 - 2 pinches
  • salt
  • for the topping
  • eggs - 1
  • yoghurt - 2 - 3 tbsp
  • salt

Preparation

Braise the finely chopped onion and grated carrot with the oil in a pot. Add the spinach, grated garlic, well-cleaned chicken leg and pour in cool water. Season with salt and leave it to cook until the chicken leg is boiled.

Once it is fully cooked, remove the bones and return it back the pot. Add the tomato juice, vermicelli, black pepper and leave it for about 5 min. to boil until the vermicelli is cooked.

Thicken the spinach soup with the egg and yoghurt. For anyone who likes more garlic in their soup, they can season it with ground garlic and salt. Bon appetit!find similar recipes here
