  • phyllo pastry - 17.5 oz (500 g), sheets
  • carbonated water - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • oil - 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • baking powder - 1
  • feta cheese - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • eggs - 6


Cut the ready-made phyllo pastry sheets into strips about 1/2″ (1 cm) wide. Separate the strips from one another. There must not be any stuck together.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs well. To them, add the oil, baking powder and carbonated water. Stir everything well. Then, add the crumbled feta cheese. Stir again.

To the mixture, add the cut strips of phyllo pastry sheets. Stir everything well. All of the strips need to get wet. Smear the cake form with oil well on the inside and out. Pour the prepared mixture into the cake form. Bake in a moderate 356°F (180 °C) oven until ready.find similar recipes here
