Beat the eggs with the sugar using a whisk. Add the rest of the products in the order listed above.
Stir well. The mixture you're going to get is a runny one - this is normal.
Pour it into a 12 1/2″ (32 cm) oiled oven dish and bake in a preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven. Cut the baked baklava into rhombuses and leave it to cool fully.
Separately, mix the ingredients for the syrup in a pot. 5 min. after they come to a boil, remove from the stove and pour it over the cooled baklava.
Once it's cooled, it's ready to serve. Quick, easy, delicious!
