How to cook
Thaw the dough and divide it into 2 balls. Crumble the feta cheese and break the eggs on top but be sure to set aside 1 yolk for smearing. Stir until homogeneous.
Melt the butter. Roll out the first ball into a thin sheet, smear it with butter and put on half the stuffing.
Form it back into a ball and put it in a suitable baking dish, the bottom of which you've buttered. Do this for the other ball of dough. Smear them with beaten egg yolk and leave them to rise.
Once they've risen, put the pitas in a heated oven, gradually raise the temperature to 360°F (180 °C).
Bake to a golden crisp. Sprinkle the ready pitas with water and cover them until they soften.
