Boil the potatoes but not fully. Put the garlic, mashed ahead of time, in a buttered oven dish.
Cut the tomatoes and potatoes into round slices. Arrange them in the oven dish, alternating between them and slightly overlapping them.
Braise the meat, add the spices to it and stir. Pour it into the middle of the oven dish.
Beat the eggs with the cream, salt and black pepper to taste. Bake at 392°F (200 °C) for 30 min.
Take the casserole out of the oven and sprinkle with grated cheese and parsley.
