How to cook
Arrange the sauerkraut leaves in a buttered cake form.
Braise the onions, rice, mince and add spices to taste. Stir well and pour the mixture into the form.
Fold the parts of the sauerkraut leaves that are sticking out inward. Pour in 1 cup sauerkraut juice and 1 cup water.
Bake the dish at 392°F (200 °C) for about 40 min. or until the sauerkraut softens.
Leave it to cool, pour out the water (if any is left) and carefully invert into a plate.
