Crunchy Creme Caramel

  • eggs - 6
  • milk - 4 1/5 cups (1 L)
  • sugar - 1 cup (250 g)
  • vanilla - 2
  • sugar - 2/5 cup (100 g), for caramelizing


Beat the eggs with the sugar using a mixer. Add the egg mixture to the boiled milk, vanilla and stir.

Caramelize the sugar and distribute it into cups or forms.

Pour in egg mixture into each cup.

Arrange the forms in a tray with water in it. Bake in the oven at no more than 302°F (150 °C).

If it's too strong, lower it even further so the water doesn't come to a boil - to prevent bubbles.
