How to cook
Dissolve the yeast in the cool water with the sugar and leave it to bubble for 10 min. Knead a medium soft dough from the remaining ingredients (excluding the feta cheese).
Leave it to rise in a warm area, covered with a towel, for 30 min.
Tear small balls from the dough and arrange them in a buttered oven dish.
After 10 min., make the topping. Heat the oil and butter in a pan, braise the flour and pour this over the loaf. Then, sprinkle with crumbled feta cheese.
Preheat the oven to 356°F (180 °C) and bake to a crunchy crust. Serve with a glass of milk and sprinkle powdered sugar on top, if desired.
It's remarkably delicious.
