Wash the potatoes very well but don't peel them. Cut them in 2.
Fry them in a deep fryer until golden but not too much.
Chop the garlic and dill finely.
Pour the potatoes in a bowl with a lid immediately after frying. Add the garlic and dill to them. Season with salt and vinegar to taste. Cover with the lid and shake the bowl well so the flavors mix.
Leave them to smother for 30 min. before serving.
