How to cook
Mix together the black pepper, paprika, oil and salt. Stir them very well and smear the clod with this aromatic mixture.
Put the lamb clod in an oven dish, sprinkle with the leaves of fresh spearmint.
Pour in the water and cover with aluminum foil. Put it to bake in a preheated 392°F (200 °C) oven for 2 hours.
Remove the foil and leave the meat to bake until it gains a nice crust, while basting it with the sauce from the oven dish from time to time.
If necessary, pour in a little more water. Cut the clod into servings and serve with fresh vegetables and potatoes. A tasty and festive dish!
