How to cook
Stir the yeast with the sugar and a little flour in a little bit of the milk to a sludge. Leave it to bubble.
Knead a soft dough and leave it for 30 min. in a warm area to rise. Divide it into 4 parts. Roll out each into a rectangular sheet, smear it with lard or oil and sprinkle with a filling of the mixed together egg and crumbled feta cheese.
Arrange the sheets one atop the other, don't smear the last one.
Cut this into 5 strips. Twist each one and arrange them in a buttered oven dish. Smear with egg yolk and sprinkle with seeds.
Bake in a preheated 338°F (170 °C) oven for 35-40 min.
Serve with yoghurt or fresh tomatoes.
