How to cook
Clean the strawberries. Wash them well in cold water. Set aside small jars with twist-on caps and wash them as well.
Chop the strawberries finely. Put them in a large pot, add the sugar. Stir. Put it on the stove, stir periodically.
Boil on low heat. Keep an eye on it to make sure you get the desired density. Once it does, pour a little in a plate to have a taste.
5 min. before taking it off the heat, add the citric acid as well. Stir. Distribute the jam into the jars.
Close with the caps well.
