How to cook
For my tulumbas, I made the same kind of steamed dough that's used for eclairs.
Pour the oil, water and pinch of salt in a pot. Once it starts to boil, pour in the flour, stir until you obtain a dough.
Leave it to cool for about 10 min. Once it does, add the eggs 1 by 1.
From the resulting mixture, spray out tulumbas in heated oil.
Once fried on one side, most of them will flip over by themselves - if not, help them along and fry on the other side.
Dip them with a slotted spoon in the hot syrup, take them out immediately and arrange in a tray.
