How to cook
Mix together the sugar with the water, add the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Gradually heat the mixture on the stove while stirring nonstop.
Let the syrup come to a boil, boil 3-4 min. on medium heat and remove from the stove.
The resulting syrup is enough to syrup 1 large tray of baklava (for which you've used 2 packs of phyllo pastry sheets).
