How to cook
Put all of the ingredients (excluding the jam) in the break maker and put it on the knead setting for 15 min. Leave it for 30 min. to rise.
Knead again for 15 min. Let rise a 2nd time - 30 min.
Then it's time to shape it. Divide it into 2 balls.
Divide each ball into 4 long wicks. Put jam in 2 of them and cover it. Weave the 4 wicks together about each other.
Put it in a baking form in the oven at 122°F (50 °C) for 15-20 min. to rise a 3rd time.
Smear with the egg white on top and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 320°F (160 °C) for about 1 hour but do check on it with a toothpick just in case.
