Wash the fresh potatoes, pour cold water over them and boil on the stove for 20 min. until semi-cooked.
Heat the butter in a pan to melt, add the finely chopped garlic clove and chopped dill.
Stir for a minute and remove from the heat. Drain the boiled potatoes and cut them in 2. Arrange them in an oven dish, sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
Pour the garlic mixture on top with a spoon. Grate the cheese coarsely and distribute it on top of the potatoes.
Bake in a preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven for 20 min. until the cheese gains a golden color.
