In order to bake an eye-catching cake, it's best to use a rectangular form, with its bottom and sides covered with baking paper. Pour part of the brown mixture into the form, then half the cherries (pitted ahead of time). Roll the cherries in flour before adding them. Next place part of the white mixture, then brown again, cherries and white mixture.
Bake the cake in a preheated 347°F (175 °C) oven. Once baked, sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
