How to cook
Stir the eggs with the sugar and vanilla. Add the oil. Then add the flour with baking powder and stir well.
Pour in the water/milk and stir until homogeneous. Pour it into a floured form and bake in a preheated 320°F (160 °C) oven until ready. Check with a toothpick to make sure there's no dough stuck to it when you take it out of the cake.
Ideas: To the dough, you can add a little fruit jam, mashed banana, pieces of chocolate, cocoa, nuts or raisins. I added a mix of nuts and chocolate this time around. Once it's ready but still warm, decorate with melted chocolate.
Sometimes I also inject chocolate into the cake with a pastry bag with a thin tip or spread it out on top at equal distances apart. To hide the holes, I decorate with chocolate on top as well or use powdered sugar.
