Ingredients

  • condensed milk - 1 2/3 cups (400 ml), sweetened
  • cream - 1 2/3 cups (400 ml), 30%
  • vanilla - 1 stick
  • orange zest - optional

How to cook

Cut the vanilla pod in half and scrape off the seeds with the dull side of the knife. Add them to the mixed together cream and condensed milk in a bowl.

Begin beating the mixture with a mixer, to obtain fluffy peaks.

Optionally, you can add grated orange zest, nuts or dried fruits of your choice.

Transfer the mixture to a suitable container with a lid. Put it in the freezer to freeze. You can beat the mixture again during the 1st hour and then return to the freezer.

Once it's ready, take it out of the freezer and put it for 20-30 min. in the freezer before serving.

Optionally, you can pour on a topping of your choice.
