Ingredients

  • spinach - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • rice - 1 cup (250 g)
  • eggs - 3
  • breadcrumbs - 2/3 cup (150 g)
  • black pepper - to taste
  • salt - to taste
  • oil - for frying

Preparation

Boil the rice and the finely chopped spinach separately in salted water.

Strain them in a colander and mix them with the beaten eggs and breadcrumbs. Add black pepper and salt to taste. Knead a mixture and form meatballs.
