Khachapuri - Georgian Bread with Filling

Pour the baking soda and salt in the thick ayran, stir and gradually add the flour until you get a thick dough.

Divide the dough into 6 equal parts, form them into balls, roll out each ball into a thin sheet. Distribute part of the pre-mixed crumbled feta cheese and egg in middle of each sheet.

Bring the edges of the sheet together to form a baggie, flip the baggie over with the joined edges on the underside and roll out into a thin sheet once again.

Heat a pan, about the size of the Khachapuri, on low heat, put it in it with the edges facing down and cover the pan with a lid. After a few min., turn the bread over and cook without the lid.

Smear each Khachapuri with butter on both sides and repeat this process for all of the sheets. Of course, you can always change the filling to suit your taste.find similar recipes here
